This is the livingroom of the house which is situated approx. 40 km south of Copenhagen. We actually started out replacing the windows. As this room many years ago was a grocer’s store and the grocer himself lived in the rest of the house – there used to be big windows. But for some reason between life of the grocer and 2005 someone put up boards of masonite to cover up the enormous holes in the yellow brick wall.
So therefor we replaced the windows with bigger window section. We also laid an oak flooring with underfloor heating.
The light red sofa and the two armchairs with their string metal legs goes well with the sofa table.
White, red and oak – it is nice and simple.
